Terms & Conditions

KS Palia Tour and Travels • Effective Date: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the services provided by KS Palia Tour and Travels ("Company", "we", "us" or "our"), including bus transportation, ticket booking, tour and travel-related services.

By booking a ticket, making a payment, accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

1. Booking and Ticket Confirmation
  1. A booking shall be considered confirmed only after successful payment and generation of a valid booking/ticket confirmation.
  2. The passenger must verify the following details immediately after booking:
    • Passenger name
    • Journey date
    • Boarding point
    • Destination
    • Reporting time
    • Contact number
    • Seat number, where applicable.
  3. Any error in passenger information should be immediately reported to the Company.
  4. The Company may refuse boarding where the passenger fails to produce a valid ticket/booking confirmation or where identity verification is reasonably required.
2. Passenger Responsibility

The passenger is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information;
  • Reaching the boarding point on time;
  • Carrying the required identification documents;
  • Keeping the ticket/booking confirmation safely;
  • Following instructions of the driver, conductor or authorised staff;
  • Complying with applicable laws and safety requirements.
3. Reporting and Boarding

Passengers are advised to reach the designated boarding point sufficiently before the scheduled departure time. The Company shall not ordinarily be responsible for a passenger missing the bus due to:

  • Late arrival;
  • Traffic congestion affecting the passenger's arrival at the boarding point;
  • Incorrect boarding location;
  • Failure to monitor journey updates;
  • Personal reasons; or
  • Failure to respond to calls/messages regarding boarding.
4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation shall be governed by the cancellation rules applicable to the particular ticket/service at the time of booking. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the Company may apply cancellation charges based upon the time remaining before scheduled departure.

5. Refund Policy
  1. Refunds shall be processed only where the passenger is eligible under the applicable cancellation/refund policy.
  2. Refunds may be subject to cancellation charges, payment gateway charges, booking charges, convenience fees or other non-refundable charges, where applicable and lawfully permissible.
  3. Approved refunds shall generally be made through the original payment method.
  4. The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer's bank account may depend upon the relevant bank/payment gateway.
  5. Where the payment gateway or banking institution delays the credit of the refund, the Company shall not be responsible for such third-party processing delays.
  6. A refund request may require booking details and reasonable verification of the passenger/customer.
6. No-Show Policy

If a passenger fails to board the bus at the designated boarding point and scheduled departure time, the booking may be treated as a No-Show. Unless otherwise specified in the applicable ticket terms, no refund shall be payable for a No-Show.

7. Rescheduling / Change of Journey

Requests for changing journey date, boarding point, destination, or passenger details may be permitted subject to availability and the applicable charges. The Company reserves the right to refuse a change request where operationally impractical or where the request is made too close to departure.

8. Bus Schedule and Delays

Scheduled departure and arrival times are indicative and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, vehicle breakdown, government restrictions, accidents, route diversions, road construction, public disturbances, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control. The Company shall make reasonable efforts to minimise delays but does not guarantee exact arrival times.

9. Route and Vehicle Changes

For operational, safety or regulatory reasons, the Company may change the vehicle, route, boarding point, drop point, reschedule departure, or make other reasonable operational adjustments. Where reasonably practicable, passengers shall be informed of material changes.

10. Seat Allocation

Where seat selection is available, the selected seat will be subject to operational availability. The Company may change the assigned seat or vehicle due to replacement, operational requirements, safety considerations, maintenance, or technical issues. The Company shall endeavour to provide a reasonably equivalent alternative where possible.

11. Luggage and Personal Belongings

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and should not leave valuables unattended (cash, jewellery, mobile phones, laptops, electronics, or important documents). The Company may prescribe reasonable luggage limits depending on the service. Prohibited, dangerous, illegal or hazardous items shall not be carried.

12. Lost and Found

If an item is lost during the journey, the passenger should immediately contact the Company with Booking number, Journey details, Date of travel, Seat number, and Description of the lost item. The Company shall make reasonable efforts to assist in locating the item but cannot guarantee recovery.

13. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must behave responsibly and respectfully towards drivers, conductors, employees, fellow passengers, and service providers. Abusive behavior, threats, violence, harassment, property damage, consumption of prohibited substances, or creating disturbance may result in refusal of service or removal from the vehicle without refund.

14. Smoking, Alcohol and Prohibited Substances

Smoking, vaping or consumption of prohibited substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Passengers must comply with applicable laws and safety instructions relating to alcohol and other substances.

15. Safety

Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions issued by the driver, conductor or authorised personnel, including wearing seat belts where available. The Company reserves the right to take reasonable measures necessary for passenger and vehicle safety.

16. Children and Minors

Passengers travelling with children or minors are responsible for their supervision and safety. The Company may require appropriate ticketing, identification or documentation in accordance with applicable rules.

17. Medical Conditions and Special Requirements

Passengers should inform the Company in advance regarding any special assistance reasonably required for travel. Passengers are responsible for carrying their prescribed medicines and necessary medical documents.

18. Third-Party Services

Where the Company facilitates services provided by third parties (hotels, cab operators, payment gateways, etc.), such services are governed by the third party's own terms and conditions. The Company shall not be responsible for matters exclusively attributable to independent third-party providers.

19. Payment

The Company accepts payments through UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, Payment gateways, or Cash. A booking shall not be considered confirmed merely because the customer has initiated a payment.

20. Failed or Pending Transactions

If money has been debited from the customer's account but the booking is not confirmed, the customer should contact the Company with transaction reference details. The Company will verify with the gateway or bank before processing confirmation or refund.

21. Taxes and Charges

Applicable taxes, government levies, booking charges, convenience charges or other disclosed fees may be added to the fare as applicable and communicated at the time of booking.

22. Fraudulent Bookings

The Company reserves the right to cancel or suspend bookings where fraud, identity misuse, payment misuse, or suspicious activity is suspected, and report such activity to the appropriate authorities.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, strikes, technical failures, or force majeure events.

24. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be considered in breach of these Terms where performance is prevented by natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil disturbance, government orders, epidemics, or extraordinary circumstances. In such cases, the Company may reschedule or cancel the service subject to applicable refund policies.

25. Website Information

The Company makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate. Occasional errors relating to timings, fares, routes, or descriptions may occur and will be corrected as detected.

26. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logos, brand names, text, graphics, designs, software, and layout belonging to KS Palia Tour and Travels shall not be copied, reproduced, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

27. Privacy

The collection and processing of customer information is governed by the Company's Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

29. Grievance Redressal

The Company shall endeavour to resolve genuine customer complaints within a reasonable period. Where third-party or banking verification is required, additional time may be needed.

30. Modification of Terms

The Company may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on the website. Continued use of the services after modifications constitutes acceptance.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

32. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from the services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.

33. Acceptance

By booking a ticket or using the services of KS Palia Tour and Travels, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable Privacy Policy.
